Based in the steel-making city of Sheffield in the north of England, Therco is a market leading manufacturer of Air Cooled and Tubular Heat Exchangers. The company’s high integrity, premium quality products sit at the heart of oil, gas and power generation installations across the globe.

Having helped establish the Therco brand since its inception in 2004, we have recently created a new brand identity for the business that reflected the implementation of its 2020 vision – moving away from the Power and Marine sectors into a larger, more international audience with a greater focus on offshore, higher specification, Nuclear projects.

With a business and brand that has grown exponentially for over a decade, this was the perfect opportunity for a fresh approach – positioning Therco as a large, high quality, capable, honest and committed partner – an experienced and reliable player on the global stage.

We set out to create a new vision for Therco that gave their multi-national clients belief that they are a brand to be trusted; one that creates value without compromise; that delivers a greater and wider reaching service than any of its UK competitors.

The new identity took its inspiration from the theme of connectivity. Whilst Therco products are Made in Sheffield they are built for a global market. Connecting continents, businesses and people – at the forefront of manufacturing innovation. The new brand embodies this journey that the business is on.

It was important to bring to life Therco’s most important assets – their workforce. On location at the main Sheffield factory, we undertook a full day photoshoot with the photographer Richard Moran – capturing a series of powerful, authentic and honest people portraits, as well as a large number of working images for use throughout their brand collateral.
